All you had to wait for 5 or more minutes then it’s done. It pretty much guided me to select the correct email and then it switched to a download screen and once it was done. Once you create your Microsoft account email then follow your instructions in the Amazon email. It’s an old email that I still have access to but I just wanted to stay consistent with my accounts and keep them the same). Not sure if this would have caused any problems.
FYI, ( I do have another email account that popped up when system asked which email I wanted to use. Make sure your email name is the same as your amazon account. If you do not have a Microsoft user ID or password, you must go create one “BEFORE” you try to download the instructions in the email or you’ll have to do way more unnecessary steps that may not work. Once you purchase the software, you must wait for the confirmation email from Amazon giving you instructions on how to download this purchase. Here is my experience since I purchased this January 2023. Things may have changed over time on the setup process from Amazon since soooo many people were having difficulty getting this to work. I have read most of the reviews and saw numerous complaints. Before I purchased this I looked on the Microsoft website and it does cost $10 dollars more.
