I’ve used it briefly, but I’ll definitely not be switching to Opera on a long-term basis. If you want to check out the Opera browser you’ll need to download the Android App. Another big issue with using a VPN is that it slows down your internet connection. I’m not really sure why this is something you would need. Again, unless you’re up to something you should not be doing. If you lived in the USA the VPN may show you’re based in Thailand. This means a website you visit would not be able to identify where you’re located. It does this by routing all internet traffic around the world. A VPN makes it impossible for anyone to identify you when surfing the internet. However, I’ve never really understood why you would need to use a VPN. This may sound ideal for anyone who is concerned about their data. A VPN or Virtual Private Network allows you to surf the internet anonymously. The only feature people may be interested in is the VPN. Apart from some extra features, which don’t provide enough for me to use the Opera browser over the Chrome browser. I can’t really understand why you would want to do this and what the benefit would be. Yes, the Opera browser on your Chromebook is only possible if you download their app from the play store. To use Opera you would need to do this via an Android App. This is because the Chrome browser is built into the Chrome OS operating system. It’s important to know that you cannot change your default browser. The Chrome browser is also a Google-powered browser, so the Chrome browser being used by default is a perfect match. The default browser on your Chromebook is Chrome, which makes sense, as Chrome OS is a Google operating system.
This means you’ll use a lot of programs directly from your browser. This is because Chrome OS takes full advantage of computing in the cloud. If you’ve used a Chromebook you’ll know you spend a lot of your time using the browser.
